Scope is part of the token
Admin overrides apply within .admin-shell and .admin-login-shell. Dark overrides also require the root data-theme="dark" selector. Moving an admin component outside that wrapper changes the token resolution. The admin palette shown below is the effective merged scope, including inherited public variables that admin does not override.
Status hierarchy
- Badges provide neutral, accent, success, warning and danger tones. Warning and danger also use source color-mix rules and literal amber/red values.
- Use destructive styling for destructive actions. A review warning is not an error.
- Published state has its own foreground/background treatment; do not recolor it as a generic success button.
