Custom websites
and software
for your agency.

Keep your attention on the brand, the client, and the bigger picture. I’ll turn the brief into a custom website or software that fits the way their business works.

01 / Custom websites

The site they want.
The admin they need.

A beautiful site for the people visiting. A thoughtful workspace for the team behind it. Both designed around your client’s business, down to the layouts, content fields, and everyday tasks.

No WordPress. No cookie-cutter themes. No page builders.

Every pixel, on purpose.

Bring your team’s designs or just the brief. I’ll build the layouts and interactions around your client’s brand, with no theme dictating what fits where.

Custom goes behind the scenes.

The admin gets the same care as the public site. Clear screens, useful fields, and publishing tools tailored to the team’s work, so handoff feels natural.

Skip the plugin juggling.

The features your client needs are built into the site. No stack of plugins to patch together, no theme and plugin updates to keep compatible.

02 / Custom software

Custom software built around your client’s business.

When a client is working around a bulky, expensive platform, there may be a better answer: software crafted for the exact job they need done.

A client portal. A quoting tool. An approval workflow. Replace the parts that get in the way with a focused system their team can actually use.

Picture the possibilities

“Can we have our own…?”

Think about the tools your clients use—and the work they still do around them. Could a custom solution fit their business better? Start with a familiar example.

Your client might ask

We use FreshBooks, but we really just need invoices and monthly retainers. Can we have our own billing tool, with our branding and the way we handle clients built in?

My answer

Yes!

Your client list, retainer agreements, invoices, and payment status could live in one straightforward workspace. Opening a client would show what’s due and what needs attention, with your usual billing steps built in. My own billing tool is an example of this approach.

See my billing tool

What does your client keep doing in a spreadsheet, copying between tools, or explaining to their team? That could be the starting point for their own software.

Selected software projects

A few ideas I’ve brought to life.

These are examples of software I’ve designed and built, from complete platforms to focused tools for everyday work. Each shows a different possibility for your client’s next project.

TeachKit’s lesson player and course curriculum

TeachKit

A lightweight course platform built around existing videos.

Turn a video library into structured lessons, practical exercises, and visible student progress. I built TeachKit to give creators a dedicated teaching space and a direct connection with their audience.

Makeable Billing’s invoice and payment dashboard with example data

Makeable Billing

A billing system built around recurring client work.

The goal is a better fit. We’ll weigh the build, hosting, and upkeep against the work it saves and the tools it replaces.

03 / AI built in

Their tools.
Their choice of AI.

Connect the AI your client already uses to the website or software we build. We’ll design the connection around the work they need done, from preparing content to finding answers in their business records.

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • Grok

Turn notes into website updates.

Ask AI to turn a client’s rough notes into a service page, then save the draft in their website admin for review and publishing.

Ask questions about the business.

“Which invoices are still unpaid?” or “What’s waiting on client approval?” Get answers from the tool’s current records, with links to the details.

Get a head start on quotes.

Turn a new inquiry into a draft quote using the client’s service list and pricing. Their team checks the scope and numbers before sending it.

The referral process

How it works.

Make the introduction. Earn 25% of each payment your client makes toward the project.

  1. Introduce your client

Connect us about a new website or software project. I’ll take it from there.

  2. The project begins

The client and I agree on the work, get started, and they make their first payment.

  3. I request your invoice

After their payment arrives, I ask you to invoice me for your 25% share.

  4. You get paid

I pay your invoice. You receive 25% of that client payment.

Each project payment, another payout. The same invoice-and-payment cycle repeats with every payment phase of the project.

Two ways to work together

Keep the project.
Or make the introduction.

Choose the arrangement that fits your agency and the client. Both start with a conversation about the work.

01 / Your development partner

Your client.
Your project.
My build.

You keep the client relationship and creative direction. I scope and price the development with you, then invoice your agency directly.

You set your client’s price and manage the engagement. I work with your team to bring the website or software to life.

You quote the client. I bill you.

02 / Your referral partner

25%

Of the project total.
For the introduction.

Have a client who needs a website or custom software, but you’d rather hand over the project? Refer them to me.

I work with the client directly on scope, delivery, and billing. You receive a 25% commission on the project total, paid as each client payment comes in.

I handle the project. You earn the referral.

We’ll agree on scope, pricing, responsibilities, and any referral terms in writing before work begins.
