Editorial clarity and alternatives
Make publication content understandable, attributable and usable when visual context is missing.

Content standards
| Content | Rule |
|---|---|
| Headlines | State the actual local subject; avoid invented urgency or unsupported claims. |
| Alt text | Describe the meaningful image information in context; filenames and credits are not alternatives. |
| Credits | Preserve photographer/source attribution separately from alt text. |
| Disclosure/correction | Use the dedicated editorial fields and keep the resulting reader context visible. |
| Status | Draft, published, scheduled, featured and review state each mean different things. |
| Errors | Explain the operation that failed and what the person can do next. |
| Analytics/place data | Label range, freshness and uncertainty; never turn sample values into actual outcomes. |
Review procedure
- Inspect the heading outline and link purpose without surrounding imagery.
- Review long names and missing metadata on phone.
- Check canonical URLs and date/time interpretation.
- Keep private contacts and account records out of public screenshots.
