Source README and extension README state that the website and extension render the same AppHome. The runtime adapter supplies API and website base URLs; extension requests include credentials and dispatch startboard:unauthorized on a 401 response.

Distribution contract

Manifest V3 overrides the new-tab page and requests host permission for https://startboard.so/*. Its content-security policy permits the service connection while keeping scripts and fonts local. npm run build:extension produces dist/extension via Vite.

The component docs therefore apply to the shared renderer. Login bootstrap, local extension fonts, permissions and installed-browser behavior require their own test matrix. No extension screenshot is claimed here.
