Iconography

Delivery and families

app/fontawesome-local.css defines source-local OTF font faces and maps utility classes to glyphs. The default interface uses Font Awesome 7 Sharp Regular. Brand symbols use the Brands face. Captures verify those faces load; the portfolio’s Material icons are documentation navigation only.

Bookmark identity

Each bookmark can carry a CSS icon class. Without one, the tile shows the first trimmed character in uppercase, or ? for an empty label. The fallback deliberately keeps every saved link visible without relying on a favicon service.

The editor searches a static icon-library array by lowercase substring, caps visible matches at 40, and displays a selected-icon row with removal. AppHome lazy-loads the catalog on the first nonempty query; board settings import it directly.

Usage and licensing

• Keep decorative action icons aria-hidden and give the surrounding control a meaningful accessible name.
• Do not rely on an icon alone to explain public sharing or destructive actions.
• Use the source assets under their existing license; the design-system exports do not redistribute the Pro font package.
• Verify icon class names against the local stylesheet. Arbitrary saved classes are not a guarantee of a valid glyph.
