Find work and narrow the view
Distinguish finding records across the product from hiding categories within one day’s agenda.

User goal
Distinguish finding records across the product from hiding categories within one day’s agenda.
Workflow
| Step | Expected behavior |
|---|---|
| 1 | Enter a specific query and submit it for cross-product search. |
| 2 | Review results with their record type and contextual detail. |
| 3 | Narrow by type or completion status if needed. |
| 4 | Open the appropriate destination rather than treating every result as a task. |
| 5 | On the daily agenda, use category visibility filters only to adjust the displayed plan. |
Decision rules
- Search matches all query words against title, detail and type.
- Record types are Inbox, Project, Schedule, Space, and Task.
- Missing completion metadata is not equivalent to incomplete work.
- Agenda visibility changes presentation, not persisted scheduling.
Edge cases and recovery
- No results should explain what can be changed, not imply a request failed.
- An empty query is different from a populated query with no matches.
- Keyboard menu traversal and result announcement need dedicated verification.
- The local capture index demonstrates actual SearchWorkspace rendering, not live search performance or authorization.
